Hello all:

Just want to start this off by saying, Magic has changed so much (for the better) since I have played 10 years ago...

Anyhow, I have a question about the Suspend mechanic. When a creature card is suspended, is it still a "creature"? Is it a "creature I control"?

If so, I can see some fun combo with Bazaar Trader and Sky Swallower...

Cheers.

No, it is not. It's sitting in the exile zone (removed from the game), so therefore it is not a creature. When something just says 'creature' without specifying 'card' or 'spell', it means a creature permanent sitting on the battlefield. (In play.) It only means things in other zones if it specifically says so. (Which the Trader does not.)

As for getting back into the game, I recommend the Returning Player Rules Primer.
