Hello all:

I am a new user to this forum, and relapsed back into MtG after some 10 years. Just like to introduce myself and see what the current deck trend is...

Welcome back to Magic after a long absence. There are quite a few new game mechanics, and more than a few major retools of the rules (no interrupts, combat damage no longer uses the stack).

Current trends are:

Standard =
Pinger Naya from Pro Tour San Diego.
U/W Jace Control is also popular.

Extended =
Dark Depths & Zoo are considered Tier 1.
Check out recent decklists from Grand Prix Oakland for recently successful Extended decks.

Also decklists for many things found here:

.....JUND??!(the best deck in the t2 format by far, not even close, the deck literally has almost no bad matchups)

You've gone and done it, Macphee. Now you have all this nerdrage on your hands.

Welcome to the site, Warcheese!

Yeah, yeah, Jund is good.

I'll take my lumps on that because it's pretty much not mentioning Faeries at the height of Faeries.
